Mozilla/Firefox SPNEGO
Mozilla-based browsers for Unix (Netscape, Firefox etc.) can be configured to authenticate to web sites using Active Directory.
You will need the following:
- A unix browser based on Mozilla 1.7+ (e.g. Firefox 0.9+, Netscape 7.2+)
- An SPNEGO capable web server (e.g. IIS 5.0+, Apache 1.3+ with mod_auth_vas, or a Java/J2EE app with Vintela Single-sign-on for Java (VSJ))
- Vintela Authentication Services (VAS), version 3.0
- Either the Mozilla-VAS extension, or some preference settings, depending on the browser version (see below).
